Boat Storage
The boat storage service offered by Nautica Acqua provides for a constant use of all the resources available on the guarded boat, starting from the delivery taken at the end of the season.
Our highly trained staff carry out routine maintenance works to preserve all components and equipment that came into contact with salt water, as well as all extraordinary maintenance to allow for the preparation and delivery of the boats during the summer of the following season.
Engineering workshop
The staff of our engineers, headed by the manager who boasts an experience initially gathered in the automotive field among the best brands - this same passion being then channelled into the field of yachts - allow us to operate on a wide range of multi-brand brands. Thus, we can work on small-, medium-, and large-sized generators, diesel and gasoline engines, starting from small outboard motors up to 2000 h.p. engines.
Our support team in conjunction with our engineering workshop, equipped with lathes and milling machines, also allows for the solution of all those problems relating to the lack of spare parts and/or non-ordinary repair works. Thanks to the support of our technical office, our workshop can provide support and indications in all those situations where modifications are required to improve the performance of a boat, such as turning open exhaust pipes into submerged ones - as opposed to the original yacht of old design.
Electrical workshop
Our electrical workshop and its team implement the experience gained to allow for the control of all the components that are tested. Such tests start from sea tests, which are carried out before hauling, and continue during the winter storage phases together with the work of our engineers. Then, activities continue throughout the year with periodic checks, the commissioning of the main utilities, and the filling out of the related check lists to identify potential anomalies that could occur in the future.
Engineering workshop
Nautica Acqua has a workshop equipped with machine tools, sheet metal working, and welding systems that allow us to build components that are difficult to supply on the market as well as to repair all stainless steel components using the most innovative techniques in the field of welding. Some examples include: the construction of fuel tanks; pulpits; various deck and non-deck components; exhaust pipes as well as risers in aluminum or steel; construction of customised components; awning structures and accessories made according to drawing.
Carpentry - Woodworking
Our carpentry department operates independently or assisted by the support of external professionals to ensure the best products, especially in the case of the construction of teak upper decks to be built on site or according to drawing. Supported by the availability to purchase first-rate materials, we can meet and fulfil any request from our customers.
Painting
Our company can carry out the complete painting of yachts in fibreglass, wood or aluminum using any type of enamel based on the expected characteristics or degree of final finish. The boat to paint is placed in a special room for preparation so as to prevent other boats in storage to come into contact with processing dust and fumes. The final painting phase is carried out inside the spray booth equipped with a forced ventilation system at a constant temperature that allows us to rule out the presence of microscopic inclusions of dirt in the enamel, even on large surfaces.
